Some Hot Drink Recipes for Cold Weather

Irish Coffee
ingredients:
• 2 tbsp. • heavy cream
• 1 1/2 oz. Irish whiskey
• 1 tsp. sugar syrup or superfine sugar
• coffee

Mixing instructions:
Add sugar (preferably brown) to strong hot black coffee and stir until sugar is fully dissolved. Add Irish whiskey. Leave enough space in the glass to add the cream. Carefully "float" the cream on to the coffee by using the back of a spoon. Do not stir.
Sip the coffee through the cool cream to truly enjoy this classic.
Whipped cream is a delicious substitute for the cream.

Ginger Rum Tea
ingredients:
• 1 1/2 oz. rum
ginger
Hot tea

Mixing instructions:
Add Rum to hot tea. Add ginger to taste.Stir and Enjoy

Fireside Punch
ingredients:
• 4 oz. curaçao
• 2 cups strong hot black tea
• 1/2 cup lemon juice
• 1 750-ml. bottle dark rum
• 1 cup orange juice
brown sugar , maple syrup, or honey to taste

Mixing instructions:
In a chafing dish or saucepan add hot tea, fruit juices, sugar, syrup, or honey, and mix well until all sweeteners are dissolved. Add curaçao and rum. Heat contents but do not allow them to boil. Stir well and serve in mugs. Makes about 14 cups.

Kahlua Java Hot Chocolate
ingredients:
• 1 1/2 oz. coffee liqueur
coffee
hot chocolate

Mixing instructions:
Mix hot chocolate with hot coffee in a mug in equal proportions. Add Kahlua. Option: Top with whipped cream or marshmallows.
